How to calculate shipping for one product in two different boxes?

I have one item I sell that ships in two different sized boxes, and shipping will not calculate for the two different items with two shipping labels. Is this possible?

May I know what products you sell? In Shopify, splitting a single item into two boxes and calculating the shipping for them is not possible and you will have to use an app. We have our shipping apps that handle these functionality. If you could explain a bit more on your requirement, I might be able to suggest you a solution for this.
