Accepting credit cards, warehouses, and shipping and fulfilling orders

Seems that I have to install an app / switch to annual billing to accomplish this.
We're only a startup company and saving every dime we could save.
I have a developer experience, is there a way that I can accomplish this by coding?

At the moment this remains unchanged and as you would have seen in the forum post, you would need to look into the apps or into upgrading your account to have carrier calculated shipping.
What country are you based in? It is just that in case you were based in the USA, this may not be ideal but you can break down your shipping rates by states which can be separated into shipping zones by going to Settings > Shipping and delivery, click Manage rates and then Create Shipping Zone:
Another example of a country where you can break down your rates into regions is United Arab Emirates.
As I mentioned early, the above may not be ideal or even applicable to you depending on the country that you're based in, so please do tell me a little bit more about why it would be important for you to break your shipping fees down depending on the city that the order is going to, and I will see about sending this feedback along to our developers on your behalf so that we can hopefully see something like this in future.

Our customer are residing in the Philippines. Actually we want per city (or per zip code) shipping rate not per region.
For now the best app we could find is https://apps.shopify.com/postcode-shipping-extension.
Is there a better option for us?
