How to disable online payment gateway. want to have just Cash on delivery method.

Hi everyone, just a quick query, i want to have just cash on delivery method. i have already add COD but when i checkout it says that this store need payment gateway. let me show you a screen shot. i want to disable payment gateway. i came across with another shopify store where they did the same. let me share it with you.this is the other store. they have disabled the payment gateway.

Please help me in it.

Welcome to the Community, and thanks for including the screenshot in your post! 

It appears as though you do have the Cash On Delivery payment method set up correctly. However, the alert that you are seeing at the checkout is most likely due to your store being a Development store. 

Do you recall if it is? You can check it by going to ‘Settings > Plans and permissions (or Account)’ from your Shopify admin. A Development store will be identified like this:

Development stores are set up to allow for an unlimited number of test orders. However, since a manual payment method such as Cash on Demand is not actually processed through any type of payment gateway, there is no way to have it in ‘test mode’; it’s considered a real transaction. You can read more about development stores and their features and limitations here.

Moving forward, to be able to process real transactions, you’ll need to:

• Transfer Ownership of the store
• Add a billing method
• Choose a paid plan

I would like to have a way to test cash on delivery (COD) orders for my development store. My app is using orders/paid webhook to handle credit card orders. After an order is paid, my app edits the order. But there is no webhook sent to me for COD orders. 

How can I test these orders with orders/create webhooks? I want to see if I can edit COD orders with orders/create webhooks.

For credit card orders, I can test with Bogus gateway or Shopify Payment Test mode. 

For COD, there is no way to test it unless I switch my development plan. But COD doesn't incur a money exchange online. This is not reasonable. I hope I miss something.
