How to disable "save this information for next time" in checkout

We do not have shopify payment enabled, so we cannot remove the option in there. How can I remove this then?

Great question!

May I ask what is the main reason you wish to remove this? At this time, this behavior is expected and cannot be removed or altered. The checkbox is for a simple browser cookie that saves info for the checkout on the shop specifically, and isn't tied to anything else. This was confirmed with our developers that it is not related to Shopify Pay.

While I appreciate this may not be the answer you are looking for, I'd be more than happy to submit this feedback to our developers for review. I cannot guarantee this is something that may change in future or be worked on, however your feedback is most important here so let me know!

Can you tell me exactly what you're trying to achieve here as I am not sure if I fully understand?

 

Is it that you would like a link to your data privacy page to who under the 'save my information for next time' tab? Or insert the link into this wording?

This checkbox doesn't work. No info is saved for the next time. This is misleading and looks like a big, therefore I would prefer to remove it as well.

I can give you mine: GDPR. I don't want to deal with saving customer information for now, in a cookie or otherwise. Is this feature still not possible to be turned off?
