How to Fulfill with Amazon tracking numbers

If I'm dropshipping from Amazon to a customer's address, then I enter Amazon's tracking number starting with TBA and select Amazon Logistics US as the shipping carrier.
However, when I clicked on the tracking number afterward, the shipment was not tracked.

Is the only way to get it to track is to select Other as the shipping carrier and include an external tracking link?
If there is another way, please let me know.

The image didn't come through, and I'm not sure what "the shipment was not tracked" means exactly, but guessing that the url is invalid. If that's the case you probably just have to select a different carrier. Our app Order Automator automates Amazon fulfillment and tracking updating, and we've found that the Shopify carrier map isn't up to date in Amazon in all marketplaces, but by switching the carrier in Shopify, they are able to generate the shipping url correctly.


Couple other logistics carriers you could try:

- Amazon Logistics
- Swiship

If that doesn't work, I would see how Amazon constructs the shipping link, then compare that with how Shopify constructs the shipping link, maybe you can find another carrier that works for that marketplace (sounds like United States).

 

If you aren't able to match them up, I would contact Amazon support and Shopify support to see where the mix up is at (I would guess Shopify, so I would contact them first).
