How to get free third-party calculated shipping rates by switching to annual plan

Hi everyone, in this article https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/shipping/setting-up-and-managing-your-shipping/enabling-shipping-... I'm seeing you can ask for third party calculated shipping rates to be added for free if you switch to an annual plan. Does anyone know who I ask or how this is done?

Hi there @armstrong123. How have you been enjoying using Shopify so far?

 

Once you've switched to the annual plan you can reach out to our Support Advisors using this page. If you let your Support Advisor know that you would like the calculated shipping feature they will be able to add it to your account for free.

 

You can switch to the annual plan following these steps:

  1. Log in to your store as the store owner.
  2. From your Shopify admin, click Settings, and then click Plan.
  3. Click Change plan.
  4. Click Change your billing period.
  5. When the billing options are shown, select the billing cycle that you want.
  6. Review the description of the credit card charges that you're agreeing to.
  7. Click Confirm changes to accept the new agreement.

And you can request support with a Support Advisor following these steps:

  1. Start on this page.
  2. Log in to your account.
  3. Type in keywords for your issue in the search field and click Search.
  4. You will then notice common questions and help guides related to your issue. Under that there will be the option to Get support. Click Continue.
  5. Then you will see the options to chat with us, email us, or request a callback.
