Accepting credit cards, warehouses, and shipping and fulfilling orders
Dear Shopify billing team,
We’ve pause this store for this moment. https://blindsandcurtainsdirect.myshopify.com/
However, we need to get the invoice on Jan 12th, but I couldn’t get in the billing system if I don’t choose a plan for my store.
Could you please send the invoice to this email address?
Thank you!
Best regards,
Julia
Hi, @Julia_S,
Hank here from Shopify.
When you are pausing your store, you are given two options to do so. The pause and build, or the full pause plan. With the former, you are able to access the admin to make any additional changes needed to your store, whilst the checkout is disabled.
The latter which seems to be the option you have described is more for the times when you just need to step away from the store and not worry about the day-to-day running of it, etc. As this essentially closes the store, it removes access to the admin and there is no charge for this plan. So what you are seeing when trying to select a plan, is a known feature as you would need to access the admin once again.
Being unable to access the admin would be why you are unable to access the past invoice(s). So once you have access to the admin, you could then proceed to download the invoice(s) you require. This can be done if you select a paid plan from the plan screen you are shown. Then once you download the required invoices, you can then pause your store once more. Then the payment that you made can stay on your account as a pro-rated credit, which will come off any future billing within your store.
Let me know if you have any further questions.
All the best,
Hank

Hi @Hank ,
Thank you for your reply. I understand how to solve it now.
There is another question I would like to see if you could help me to answer it please.
We’d bought the theme “Prestige” in 2019.
Now we would like to move to another online store, the original one will be permanently closed.
By any chance we could move the ownership of the theme to the new website?
For your reference, this is the link of original store, https://blindsandcurtainsdirect.myshopify.com/
And this is the link of the new store, https://blindsandcurtains-direct.myshopify.com/
Look forward to hearing from you!
Best regards,
Julia
You are very welcome!
The short answer is yes, you can download your theme for use in another store. The only key issue is that you would not have the developer's support, as the license is associated with the original store that the theme was purchased on.
So as you bought Prestige for your store that you are looking to close, the third-party developers would support you here as this is where the license key is associated. So if you move Prestige to your new store, the license key would not move, and if you ever needed assistance with this, you would need to hire the likes of a Shopify Expert or other developer of your choice.
So while yes you can, I just wanted to let you know of the major key difference when transferring themes.
Additionally, you can use the likes of CSV files if wanting to export some information from one store to another also.
