Accepting credit cards, warehouses, and shipping and fulfilling orders
For offline payment methods like "Purchase Order" or "Pay by Check" or alternate financing etc. we're using an app to hide those payment methods on the checkout page.
Those methods are usually for custom orders or POS orders and need to be manually accounted for by staff.
Hiding them prevents regular customers from choosing them inappropriately.
We noticed that Draft orders will show all payment methods no matter what which is not good. Apparently it's a Shopify limitation and support is very aware of this. Support mentioned this is a known and popular issue reported frequently.
Checking here how much interest there is on this topic, maybe Shopify will prioritize this if this post gets a bunch of action 🙂
