How to integrate USPS, UPS, and Fed Ex for varied product shipping?

We would like the option to integrate USPS, UPS and Fed Ex. Our products come in many different shapes and sizes, and our shipping costs range from $15-$500 depending on the item, so it is not really possible for us to standardize our shipping into 1-3 box types, or offer free shipping. We would like the ability to enter in all of our product specific dimensions and get an actual carrier quote, so we don’t end up under or over charging.

If you're in the United States, you can offer live rates provided by Shopify for both USPS and UPS (as well as DHL). If you wish to offer live rates from FedEx, or use your own negotiated rates for USPS and UPS, you can activate the carrier-calculated shipping feature on your store. This feature also lets to make full use of a number of shipping apps that allow you to offer live, calculated rates at checkout.

The feature come as standard for the Advanced and Plus plans, but it can be added to your store as an à la carte feature for an additional monthly fee of $20 USD if you are on a lower plan as well. Alternatively, the feature can be enabled on your store for free if you decide to pay for your subscription on an annual basis.

In terms of your issue regarding multiple package sizes and accurate rates, there are some third-party apps available on the Shopify App Store that can help you with this. I would recommend checking out Boxify as an option, first and foremost. The app will allow you to specify the different package types and sizes that you ship your products in, and it will then use this information to provide accurate shipping rates from a number of couriers (including USPS, UPS, and Fedex). There are a wide variety of shipping apps available on the Shopify App Store that you can check out, although I feel that Boxify is likely the one best equipped to your needs.

The app allows you to configure product weight & dimensions to get accurate shipping rates from multiple carriers(USPS, FedEx, UPS & more). You can configure custom boxes or carrier boxes according to your needs.
