Is there a way to have the customer track packages the normal way, where they are sent a tracking number when the package ships...instead of making the customer download the SHOP app to track?
Yes, done testing that is why I am asking. 3 orders, my experience was no tracking numbers at all. Only telling me to download the SHOP app.
Are you familiar with customcat? We have shopify linked too there.
I’m not familiar with customcat. I don’t believe the shop app is a requirement. I just added the shop app . I believe it was called Shopify Pat and was in the shipping settings where you could toggle it on or off. I see customcat is print on demand. You may have to manually add tracking to send confirmation
