How to resolve express checkout issues in my online store?

Hi everyone. 

 

I'm working on my checkout for my shopify store and if customers don't choose express checkout, I would like them to go to a credit card payment. However, it asks to pay with paypal even after the express checkout section. See image below. Also, how can I add more express checkout payment methods?

Anyone know how to fix this?

I appreciate that you have provided the screenshot of the checkout, as that is very helpful! Looking into this, could you clarify with us if you have added any other payment gateways to the store? You can check your payment gateways by navigating to Settings > Payments

 

There are two different types of credit card payment providers: direct providers and external providers. If you are using a direct provider like Shopify Payments - your customers can complete the purchase directly in your online store checkout. If you are using an external provider such as some third-party payment gateways, then your customers must complete their purchase on a checkout page that is hosted outside of your online store.

Thank you for that! You will need to finish the setup for Shopify Payments - or an alternate third party gateway, to accept credit cards at the checkout. Right now you only have PayPal and Venmo enabled as they are both supported by the PayPal gateway that you have enabled currently. 

 

You can check out the available payment gateways based on the country your business is located in here: Shopify Supported Payment Gateway.
