How to select pick up (as well as shipping) for only 1 item?

I am trying to set up a pick up option for a new item (while still having the option to ship it) but only want to have pick up available for this one item.

I’ve figured out a way to do this however i’d need a shipping option for this item as well which I can not figure out how to have both simultaneously… 

Basically I am travelling full time and sell jewellery so I have all of this stock with me to ship, the new item I am bringing out is a tshirt but these will stay in my home town as I don’t have enough space to travel with them. I need to find a way to have the shirts available for pick up & shipping while not affecting my other products. Has anyone successfully done this?

@islestudio I have not done it, but I think there is a way how to offer this option.

Generally speaking, you can set up a pickup option for each location. And each location, can have an inventory.

In your case, this would mean that all products could also be picked up if you only had one location.

To avoid this, you could create a second location (second inventory) and opt-in the pickup option for the second location. Within in the product settings of the T-Shirt, you would transfer the inventory from the first location to the new second one. 

In the shipping profile, make sure, that both locations are listed for shipping.

Since the T-shirt is the only available product in the second location, it is the only product that can be picked up.

Since the second location also fulfills shipping orders, you can also offer to ship it.
