How to selectively offer invoice payment options in a new webshop?

Dear all,

We are building a new webshop for a better experience for our existing customers, also we want to aquire new customers.

We work in business central and will have it connected to shopify. Now the problem we have is payments. We need to be able to give our customers the opporatunity to pay on invoice. This is not to hard to arrange. The problem is that we want to be able to choose which costomers have this opporatunity and which ones don't. In the beginning we only want to offer this to our known (and trusted) customers.

Preferably when they order, we get a notification so we can make the invoice in business central.

Rio here from the Shopify Community team. Thank you for your suggestion to use the Quote Snap and Request a Quote app for hiding prices and requesting quotes. These apps can be a great solution for your specific needs.

By using these apps, you can hide the prices on your product pages and instead provide a "Request a Quote" button or form. This allows your customers to submit their information and request a personalized quote for the products they are interested in.

Then, to receive a notification when an order is placed, you can use the Shopify custom fulfillment feature to send quotes directly to where you need them.
