Accepting credit cards, warehouses, and shipping and fulfilling orders
We have retailers who have net terms for payment but need there orders shipped before they pay.
We want the draft orders to just automatically go to our fulfillment center's ShipStation, but they are not because the orders are getting marked at "Payment Pending" and won't go to ShipStation until they are paid. How can I get them to go to be fulfilled without marking them paid?
Thanks!
We are in need of the same functionality. Whats the point of net terms if you can't fulfill the orders in the meantime?
Not sure if these workarounds will be suitable for you, but here's what I've found:
Orders that are pending payment in Shopify go to the "Awaiting Payment" section of Shipstation. If you "Mark as Paid" in Shipstation they then get sent to "Awaiting Shipment" and are ready to go. This is NOT reflected in Shopify, so the order there will still be pending payment; nothing will have changed there. For me, this is suitable.
If your business is simple enough to use Pirate Ship, you can eliminate Shipstation altogether, which I think is what I'm about to do. Pirate Ship allows you to select various financial statuses to be imported, i.e. "Pending" "Authorized" "Paid," etc. I have not found a way to do this in Shipstation. You would think a paid platform like Shipstation would have this capability rather than a free one like Pirate Ship.
Walk the plank, Shipstation!
