How to set specific opening times for online payment systems?

I would like to know if it's possible to only open my payment system at specific times. For example, if I only want the store to be open from 7 am to 10 am, how would I do that?

The reason I need it is because my customers will order food, but they are only allowed to order it in some specific time slots.

Does anyone know if there is a way to close the purchasing of items outside of the timeslot?

There are a couple of ways you might go about setting this up for your store.

I managed to find the We're Open app in our app store that seems like a potential good match for your needs.

As with all third-party apps in our store, you can reach out to the developers directly with any support queries you have by using the contact details listed there on the app store page.

You could also fully close your store to your customers by temporarily enabling the password page, though if you still want your customers to be able to view and browse your products outside of these hours this would not be ideal.

If you'd prefer you can get a custom app or solution created specific to your store by hiring a Shopify Expert for some development work.

You mentioned you're selling food via your Shopify store, so I'd definitely recommend this tutorial on that area as it seems relevant to your line of work.

I had a look around in our app store for any timed opening app like this one that has a free option.

It looks like We're Closed has a free plan available, though it looks like this is only available for stores processing less than 25 orders per month.

Can you tell me a bit more about your business and why you wish to restrict your opening hours in this way so we can check for any other options for you?

I’m in the prosses of making a web shop for my canteen at my school. On the web shop, they should be able to order a sandwich that they can customize as they wish.

The canteen has opening hours between 08 am and 1 pm. The customers should not be able to order a sandwich that can be picked up at 09 am when the time is 10 am.

And the canteen only takes orders for the same date before 10 am. So you can´t just make a order at 11 am and skip the queue at the canteen.
