Accepting credit cards, warehouses, and shipping and fulfilling orders
Dear Community,
Me and my team are about to try Shopify for the first time - such as ecommerce. We sell hearing aids, however due to local law restrictions and the nature of the business delivering and card payments should not be available. Instead of this for the end of the checkout we'd like to setup 2 options:
1. Full checkout with only in-person pick up and payment: hearing aids needs to be adjusted for the person's need, so after we'd like to build a checkout funnel with the following restrictions:
- no card or bank transfer payments - users will be able to pay in our stores when they pick up their hearing aid and its adjusted to their hearing loss
- no delivery options at all
2. Request an appointment after checkout: users should be able to request an appointment in case they do not want to make a purchase, so we can contact them to book a hearing test - then the hearing test and the possible hearing aid sales will happen in our store
Is there any best practices for the checkout types above?
Thank you,
Gergő
