Accepting credit cards, warehouses, and shipping and fulfilling orders
Hi,
I have built a Shopify store for a registered charity in the UK. I have enabled Shopify Pay using their banking details but in order to allow payments, ID and proof of address is required. I can use the ID of the director who founded the charity, but he has no mail under is name that goes to the registered address of the charity. All utility bills etc are addressed to the actual name of the charity itself.
I am considering using his home address, but then wondered if the documents would still get approved because that's not the address of the charity? If anyone has set up a store for a charity and knows what is the best way to go about it I would be grateful and likewise, if anyone from Shopify can advise what is the best course of action it would help.
Thanks
Hi @NeilFenlon this is on a slightly different note, but are you looking to raise donations after checkout from shoppers? We are working on this usercase with a couple of Charities - take a look at Pledger UK GIving App and reach out to support@pledger.co if you are interested
