Accepting credit cards, warehouses, and shipping and fulfilling orders
I set up two local delivery zones, one express with a higher price, and one normal local delivery.
Both zones are using the same postal codes. This, apparently makes Shopify only show the second local shipping zone in checkout, maybe because the postal codes for the first zone are also included in the second zone. 🙄
How can I set up two local shipping zones for the same radius/postal codes, where one is express delivery (same day) and one is normal (2 days)?
Would it work to try price-based or weight-based rates within a single shipping zone?
If that doesn't fit your needs because you want more control or automation over how delivery options are presented, you may want to try using a Shopify app that specializes in shipping and delivery options (like Starshipit or others).
Hi David,
Thank you for your reply.
I already set up different rates for each of the two shipping zones. Normal Has 17.90 and the Express has 29.90.
If I just have one shipping zone, where do I add more than one rate and min price for the single zone?
And where can I label them?
I cannot find where to add this under the shipping zone.
Oh I see – this may be what you're looking for: To add multiple rates and minimum prices for a single shipping zone, you need to create a custom shipping profile and flat shipping rates.
Create a custom shipping profile following the steps in Setting up shipping profiles.
Add flat shipping rates as explained in Setting up shipping rates.
You should be able to configure multiple shipping rules within the same shipping zone.
