Accepting credit cards, warehouses, and shipping and fulfilling orders
I use a 3rd party shipping software that automatically populates tracking numbers on our Shopify orders. Because we ship perishable products we only ship M/T/W and sometimes we add a tracking number multiple days before the product is shipped, this can get confusing for customers.... how can I stop Shopify from sending shipping confirmations automatically when a tracking number is added from our 3rd party app? The Shipping Confirmation option in the Notifications section of Settings says: "Sent automatically to the customer when their order is fulfilled (if you select this option)." but there is no option to unselect it...
Further is there any way to stop the order from auto-fulfilling when a tracking number is added?
I would ask the app you're using to not send the shipping confirmation, they have that option.
To replicate the scenario manually, it would mean not checking the box to send customer notification, when you manually fulfill an order.
