I note that for Australia pretty much all carriers require Dead Weight and Cubic weight

I would expect that every SKU would require fields for Width, Height and Depth so that appropriate shipping cost can be calculated. Right now I can not see examples on your site that include the physical dimensions of the SKU. Am I missing something here? Help Please!!

Hi,

The feature of adding dimensions to the product SKU is not available on Shopify alone.

Dimensions can only be added to the package while fulfilling the order.
To calculate the shipping charges by the shipping carrier, the dimensional values are required for the package.

I would suggest the Shopify Multi-carrier shipping label app, which has been integrated with international multiple shipping carriers.
The app handles dimensional shipping with ease. You can add weights & dimensions for your products and create custom boxes specific to your products.
The app automatically chooses the right box to pack your products based on the packing algorithm.
