You can view the payment provider used at the time of the order by reviewing the order timeline. The order timeline can be found when you scroll down the page after you've opened the order within the admin. If the order was paid via Paypal and you don't see the funds, then you'll want to contact Paypal Support for further assistance. If you click the payment line, that will expand the payment details which Paypal can use to locate the funds.
