Ideal payments for Subscription Purchases (Netherlands)

Hi Everyone,

We launched our Shopify Webshop ( recently. We are offering both “one-time” and “subscription” purchase options.

We are based in the Netherlands (NL) where Ideal is the most preferred way of payments. We can offer Ideal for “one-time” purchases (via shopify payments), but we are not able offer Ideal for “subscription” payments – this makes offering a subscription in the NL a bit obsolete.

We read in couple of places that Mollie Ideal option through Sepa Incasso can be a solution, however we did this and it does not work (Mollie’s support team said this is not possible).

Anyone faced a similar problem? And how did you overcome this?
