I have synchronized an order from Amazon with CedCommerce in my Shopify store.
I now want to edit this order in Shopify (adjust product variant).
Shopify shows that it is not possible to edit the order.
What can I do to edit future orders?
(These are personalized orders to which I want to assign the correct product variant in Shopify. My goal is to do the same with future orders.)

Thank you for your detailed answer. I am currently checking the individual approaches.
Unfortunately, it is not possible to forward an order as a draft via CedCommerce.
I am now checking the other options and will post an update hopefully with a solution.
