Incorrect Bank Details On Initial Shopify Setup?

Hi all, 

Need to change my bank account details but i keep getting the following error:

To change your bank account, make the following changes:

  • Old account must match the information we have on file. Contact support if you need further help.

    Pretty sure we keyed in the correct info, but issue still persists.

    Please help me fix this! Urgent:(

In this situation you will need to contact our live support. For the security of your account the payout bank details can't be changed without first verifying the original details inputted. In case of a misspelling or issue like you are experiencing, our accounts team will be able to assist you with this. 

 

To contact our live support please follow this link: Shopify Help Center - Contact Support, sign into your store account, search for your issue and use the contact support button at the bottom of the search results to see all our live support options. 

 

Rest assured that your payouts may try to process in this interim but they should fail and be returned to a pending state. Once the bank account details are updated, the payouts will attempt to resubmit again. It might take a bit longer than normal, but you will get any of your payments that are currently in limbo.
