Here is my situation that has been annoying me:
When I have a local delivery order, It sends a "delivered" email only when I go into the order, mark it "prepare delivery" then click the "marked delivered" then it will send an email. However, If I were to get multiple local delivery orders complete, and select multiple orders from the main page and mark it as fulfilled at the bottom of the screen. Shopify will bypass the "ready for delivery" step and automatically send customers a delivered email just because I selected multiple orders as fulfilled. How can I fix this. I have had a customer get a delivered email three times now before I realized that selecting multiple orders was the reason it was bypassing that step. How do I fix this, or even turn it off if I cant fix it
