Accepting credit cards, warehouses, and shipping and fulfilling orders
Hi! I just had an instagram shop order canceled by meta with the reason "Late fulfillment - An item in this order was not fulfilled within the required 30 business day period." The order was canceled by meta 47 days after the order was placed.
We have visible lead times on many items and customers know that their orders may not ship within 30 days. We also communicate the lead time via email as soon as orders are placed to confirm that they are aware of the shipping expectations.
I would appreciate any insight to better understand instagram's process for canceling orders due to "late fulfillment". Is meta canceling the order automatically? Or is it at that point they give the customer access to cancel the order if they wish? If it's the latter, great - if not, how do I stop meta from canceling orders not shipped within 30 days? Thank you in advance!
