Accepting credit cards, warehouses, and shipping and fulfilling orders
We’ve had instances where a customer’s order shows as delivered, but they report it as lost or stolen, so we reship a new one. Later, the customer discovers their neighbor had it and asks us to invoice them so they can pay for the replacement and keep both orders.
The issue is that when we create an invoice in Shopify, it impacts our inventory and triggers another shipment from our fulfillment partner. What I want is to create an invoice in Shopify without it affecting our inventory, essentially accounting for the replacement we already sent. Is this possible?
