Ireland and Northern Ireland postal rates - UK rates being charged for Northern Ireland

When I get an order from Northern Ireland, UK postal rates are being applied, even though the postal rates are the same as for Ireland and I have set this up as such.

The reason for this is that Shopify enables me to setup different shipping rates for regions within countries, so a different shipping charge for Northern Ireland than for the other regions within the UK (e.g. Scotland, Wales and England).

However, when the customer comes to enter in their address details, they can only pick United Kingdom, not Northern Ireland. And therefore they are getting UK shipping rates charged.

In essence Shopify have created half-baked functionality.  The solution would be to add the regions to the dropdown in the address. It even says as a title (Country/Region) over the first field under Shipping Adress 🤔
