Accepting credit cards, warehouses, and shipping and fulfilling orders
Recently, we have run into an issue where an order is broken up into different shipping profiles that have to be fulfilled separately even though all items are part of the same order. Has anyone else run into this? Is this due to a setting or update?
Hi @tinysuperheroes !
Our system has updated the way orders are broken down to give a better overview of how a product is meant to be fulfilled. The order is grouping products to present the most efficient way to fulfill said order based on how each product is being shipped and from which location.
Can you let me know how this is posing an issue for your business? Can you also let me know how you've set up your shipping profiles? I'd be happy to assess how we can make this work better for your business and day-to-day fulfillment processes.
Looking forward to your reply.
Cheers!

Hello,
This same issue (orders being split up by their shipping profiles) just started happening with my most recent update and it is definitely causing problems with my business. I have orders that end up unnecessarily being split into 3, 4, sometimes 5 different shipments. How can I fix this?
Hello @tinysuperheroes,
If your product inventory is spread across multiple locations, Shopify will generate multiple fulfillments. You can find detailed information on how this process works in this article
