Hello, I am wondering if anyone else is having problems connecting their FedEx account on Shopify with FedEx by Shippo, I am constantly getting the error message. I have all my Production Credentials entered in correctly, however I am still getting an error message. I have reached out to Shopify and I am currently waiting for them to reply back and let me know what is the issue.

I have even spoke with a FedEx representative and he stated that all my Production Credentials were correct and advised me to reach out to Shopify.  I was wondering if anyone has came across this same issue?

If you have your own FedEx account then try FedEx Ship, Rate & Track by PH app

We have tried to add an extra app, however Shopify is integrated with FedEx by Shippo, that is the only way you can add the carrier FedEx to Shopify, when you go to Settings, Shipping and Delivery and Manage, it gives you the FedEx by Shippo option, and when you install another app it does not give you the option to add it as a carrier. Thanks for your quick reply though.

I hope they figure this out soon, I thought I was the only one. I have been obtaining new Meter numbers and Authentication keys and I am still getting the same error. Last week it was "There was a problem connecting your account" and now this week it is saying "There was a problem updating your account"

I have contacted Shopify, so far there has been no solution or a workaround.

It is clearly Shopify connector issue. Fedex requires Billing address to authenticate the account, but Shopify only provides Shipping address fields. Until Shopify adds Billing section on credential page the issue will be there.

Had the same problem and figured it out. You have to put in your address EXACTLY how FedEx has it listed on your account. Looks like FedEx had our business address listed in all caps, so I typed it in all caps. Also put in the exact phone number that was on file with FedEx and contact name. Once I did that it finally connected. Would have been nice if the Shopify error message would have been more descriptive than "There was a problem updating your account". Hope this works for you!
