Is it possible to use a discount code if a customer use Paypal

Hello 

I made a discount coupon using the basic Shopify feature but wonder if this work with Paypal.

I tried to test it with my other Paypal account but seems like it isn't available for non-American users.

Is it possible for customers to use a discount count when they're checking out through Paypal?

To share some insight, discounts are created and applied directly within your Shopify store. Due to this, customers should be able to receive a discount regardless of the payment provider they decide to complete their purchase with. If your customers are unable to apply a discount within the checkout page of your online shop, please feel free to Contact Support. This will allow our advisor team to take a closer look and ensure it gets resolved as quickly as possible.

Thank you for your answer. According to your explanation, seems like it is able to apply a discount code to the Paypal users. 

Do you have a screenshot of a blank to enter the discount code when a user checks out through Paypal?

Thank you for the prompt response! I'd be happy to provide some further clarification on this. As previously mentioned, discounts are created and applied directly within your Shopify store.

Due to this, customers would not be entering the discount code within PayPal but within the checkout page of your Shopify store. I recommend confirming that your checkout page looks similar to the screenshot outlined below.

If however, you're not seeing the option to enter a discount code you can Contact Support. This will allow our advisor team to take a closer look and ensure it gets resolved as quickly as possible.
