Is Shopify Payments available in Switzerland yet?

I know this has been discussed before, but does anyone have an update, if and when Shopify will open Shopify Payments for Switzerland?

Thank you for your interest in getting Shopify Payments launched in Switzerland!

The Shopify Payment team is hard at work to launch Shopify Payments in new countries. However, due to a number of variables, we can not guarantee that we'll be able to launch Shopify Payments in a specific country, nor provide updates on when Shopify payments will be launched. If we are able to launch Shopify Payments then we'll be sure to let merchants in the new country know by updating their Shopify admin. 

In the meantime, you will need to use a third-party payment processor available in Swizterland which you can see here.

+1 please i have around 5 shops i like to use Shopify Payments as well.

Do you have NEWS concerning Shopify Payments for Switzerland? 

It's really a shame that we have to wait so long. Any update would help to stay on the Shopify platform for a bit longer.

I am unable to share updates on whether or not we'll be able to launch Shopify Payments in Switzerland outside of that your feedback has been logged with our Products team for further review. If we are able to launch Shopify Payments in Switzerland then we'll be sure to announce it to all eligible store owners via the admin, our announcement page and/or our changelog.

+1 🙂 We have a store in Switzerland and we love to have Shopify Payments for it. Since you are not able to sell in multiple currencies and offer subscription without Shopify Payments.

@Trevor We hear rumours that Shopify is planning to launch Shopify Payments in Switzerland. Or better it was planned to launch in late 2021. Do you have News if that is true and if Shopify Payments is coming soon to Switzerland? Thanks.

Is there anything planned in the meantime? I've seen that Italy, France and Finland were recently added and that it is now possible to sell using Shopify payments.
