Is there any way to give a discount when proposing prepayment to customers who have ordered COD?

We occasionally send invoices to customers who place orders with COD. This is because COD is not supported in some countries. However, in order to increase the conversion rate, we want to offer a discount to customers who pay in advance from COD orders. As you can see in the picture below, gift card is the only method that customers can use when they try to pay again. 

Is there a way to use discount codes as well as gift cards?

What I am inquiring about is not how to issue a discount code.
I'm asking how to set the customer to also enter a discount code when making a repayment.
Like the photo above.
