Hello,

I am trying to fill out my payments settings but shopify is not accepting my IBAN. It says it is not valid but I am pretty sure it is. I am using a Czech Raiffeisenbank if it helps.

Does anyone know what to do?

please help

Hey @JakubMatejicek!

Thanks for checking in with this, and I would be more than happy to assist you today.

That is strange indeed, just to clarify, does your bank account meet the below requirements?

Account Requirements

  • A standard bank account with a financial institution must be provided (e.g., checking). Other types of bank accounts (e.g., savings) or those with a virtual bank account provider (e.g., e-wallet or cross-border services) are not supported.

  • The account must be able to accept SEPA transfers.

  • EU IBANs that can be used will begin with the prefix: AT BE CH DE DK EE ES FI FR GB GI IE IT LU NL NO PT SE. Example account would be: CZ6508000000192000145399.

  • You can use a bank account from any IBAN supported country in the EU (beginning with any of the above prefixes) when setting up Shopify Payments Czech Republic, as long as the bank account’s currency is in CZK or EUR.

Let me know if that works for you and if you're still experiencing this issue. Looking forward to hearing from you!
