Hi all,
Today I received an email from a customer who was unable to complete their purchase using our Venmo express checkout option. I tried running a test transaction myself and ran into the same issue.
Is there a way to check if customers are selecting Venmo specifically at checkout (vs. PayPal, Shop Pay, etc.)? I’d like to get a sense of whether this is an isolated issue or if other customers have been running into the same problem.

You can track Venmo usage by checking your Shopify Payments reports and PayPal transaction logs. Here’s how:
And, consider using an app like Lucky Orange or Hotjar to record user sessions and see if multiple people are dropping off at checkout when selecting Venmo.
