Klarna as Shopify Payment

Greetings!

Is there any plans to open Klarna through Shopify Payments up for other countries than Sweden, Germany and Austria?

I want to move into the swedish market, but as it is, i can only use Klarna as a Alternative Payment Provider, which hinders the checkout in local Currency 😞

While Klarna through Shopify Payments is only available to Sweden, Germany, and Austria, I shall be sure to pass your feedback on internally.

Of course, building out more robust payment services is very important to us. However, achieving that requires liaising with the right banking partners and institutions, which is what we always strive to do.

In the meantime, is there anything else you'd like to discuss? Perhaps you could tell me a little about your store and why you're targeting the Swedish market specifically? I'd love to be able to help in any way I can!

The question was: is there any plans to expand klarna to other countries than the ones listed.

Sweden and Germany are the closest countries to Denmark, therefore it makes sense to expand into these markets

Any news on this subject? - would love to offer Klarna to my swedish customers in their native currency.

To clarify:

• We offer the payment method Klarna to our merchants using Shopify Payments in Germany, Sweden, and Austria only at this time, but I did pass on your feedback initially in the hopes that we can expand that to other regions. There's no guarantee if or when that will happen.
• Klarna Pay Later is currently only available to customers in Austria, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Netherlands, Sweden, and the United Kingdom.

So it's quite possible that if you're using Shopify Payments and your customers are shopping from Sweden, that they can use Klarna Pay Later. I appreciate that this is an invoicing method, which is not what you're looking for, but it is all that is available at present.

@Jesper_Skaane_B You're absolutely right. I misread the information myself and so relayed it to you incorrectly. For this reason, I will edit my previous response for the sake of everyone else reading it and in order to offer you more context. Apologies for my error there.
