Korean Seller in Korea

Hello,

I'm a Korean entrepreneur living in South Korea, and I'm currently setting up an eCommerce business on Shopify with the goal of reaching both Western and Korean audiences. I have my Korean 사업자등록증 (business registration certificate) and am fully registered.

However, I’ve been struggling to find a payment provider that works for my needs. I’ve attempted to use Stripe, Airwallex, Adyen, UseePay, and several others, but unfortunately, none of them have worked out so far.

I’d like to ask:

1. Is it possible to effectively target Western customers from my location in Korea, or are there limitations in place for Korean-based businesses?
2. Are there any recommended payment providers that could support my setup, enabling me to reach both Western and Korean audiences smoothly?

I’d appreciate any advice or insights from those with experience in international eCommerce from Korea. Thank you in advance for your help!
