Local and international shipping out of New Zealand

we are based in New Zealand and are just about to launch our shopify store and have been looking into various shipping integrations. Our products are locally made ceramics and we want to ship world wide. From the shopify community we have seen that GoSweetSpot seems to be the preferred option for NZ however GSS does not automate the shipping costs at checkout based on the parcels weight.

I see that some vendors have used shipping rules to setup zones for NZ.

Is there anyone that has found a solution that would cover local and international shipping with full integration to shopify to automatically calculate the correct shipping cost at check out?

Have you already found out on how eShip works? I just got it connected with my shopify account, but it won't let me import the orders.
