Local currencies for shop registered in Bulgaria

I have a shop registered in Bulgaria with local currency BGN. However, I am planning to expand to the EU market and I would like to set up local currencies for the EU market in euro. Unfortunately, as the store is registered in Bulgaria, Shopify Payments are not supported which is a condition to enable local currencies. I tried some third party apps but they only use as source information the settings in the Market section. Can you help me figure out a work around ?

Hi there, @mariyamm!

Thank you for reaching out. Currently, selling in local currencies is only supported by Adyen or Shopify Payments. Orders that are placed using other third-party payment providers are processed in your store's default currency. You can find more information in this help document. You can still use a currency converter app to show your customers the price in their currency, however the order will be processed in your store's currency.

Please let me know if you have any other questions!

@mariyamm, If you have a Stripe account, with Easy|Pie Shopify, you can accept most payment methods via Stripe.

It also supports multi currency. So, for example, it allows you to accept payments in EUR while your default currency is BGN, using fixed exchange rates for new markets (countries) that you will add from the Markets settings.
