Local delivery - Still not a feature?

I, like many other users, need to have the ability to edit orders that are set for local delivery. Local delivery is free for my customers but quite often they need to have a order edited or changed and it wont allow it. I realize this issue has been brought up before, the last post having 63 replies of unhappy store owners all with the same problem. That was over a year ago and while I believe its "been added to the list" still no updates and still no solution ? This is a serious problem and one that makes absolutely no sense. 

At the very least could a ETA be added ? Or is it better to find a different platform that can handle editing local delivery orders ?

Hi, thanks for the offer and a solution however I really expected this to be something I didnt have to pay extra for and feel it should be a built in feature given the message saying you cant do it is built in!
