Hello,

 

Around February 24, 2025, Shopify sent me a message instructing me to use my new account and routing numbers to update third-party vendors or services that automatically debit or credit my payments. I didn’t think much of it because I didn’t believe I had any third-party affiliations. I primarily use Shopify Payments and Apple Pay for payments. However, I recently discovered that Apple Pay is indeed a third-party vendor. Despite this, I haven’t encountered any issues with receiving payments, and I’ve been a Shopify member since September 2024.

 

The caution message at the top also advised me to update scheduled transactions by May 1st. I received all my payments last week and the weeks before. However, today, I had a balance that supposedly deposited into my account, but the payment never made it. I contacted my bank, who are unsure of the payment’s whereabouts and they also informed me that they didn’t see any pending payments.

 

I’m scheduled to have another payment deposit into my account in two days, but I’m not certain if that deposit will follow the same pattern as today’s incident. I kindly request your guidance on what steps I should take to resolve this issue.

Thank you so much for responding! Still not sure why it’s stating that my account and routing numbers have changed. It’s very weird because Shopify assigned me a “new” routing and account number I have no recollect of. However, my correct banking account information is still showing in the payments section.

Thank you for the response. So to clarify, I would need to take action being that I use Apple Pay?

 

Also, to be on the safe side, I’ll like to contact support. Is there an email or phone number that I can use to reach them?
