Moneris Apple Pay "On The Web" setup with Shopify Plus

We are currently using Moneris as our payment gateway since we have really good credit card rates with them vs. Shopify Payments or other 3rd party payment gateways.

Has anyone been able to go through the implementation successfully? Any feedback on how easy/difficult it was to set it up? 

I'm considering hiring a web dev to help us implement it. Any recommendations would be much appreciated.
