My store is located in the Philippines, which is the better local Payment method?

Hi all, im designing my store, we are located in the Filippines and i see we cannot use Shopify Payments.
Im confused about the different way we have here in Filippines to set payment.
- Does some expert or some Filipino store tell me his experience about payment for local costumers
- In case i want to attract international customers as well, how can we set payment for international costumers?

To my knowledge, best way is to find a suitable Payment gateway first, and then see how you can connect them with your Shopify store. 😁

From what I read, your link confirms my experience, (I am an Italian resident in the Philippines for about 3 years) in the Philippines credit cards are almost unknown, local platforms work almost exclusively with "Cash on delivery" leaving the payment of the products in the hands of the carriers, through cash. The various online payment methods, I am afraid, do not represent a solution but a problem since none of it covers the market adequately, and how could it be done if not even the credit cards cover only 2% of the population.
I would like to see if there are any Filipino stores around here and share experiences.
