Accepting credit cards, warehouses, and shipping and fulfilling orders
Hello Team and Folks
My question is kind of silly as i new to the shopify, i want to add shipping rates, Based on Customer's City in Pakistan, i am unable to find any options regarding this, as due to this, Most of the customers that are in my city, are finding it very expensive while making purchase, as standard shipping rates are flat and cannot be changed if they select the same city, Can you please help me out.
Regards
Hey @GalahadxD ,
Shopify’s shipping zone for Pakistan applies to the entire country, so any rates set in Shopify's shipping settings will cover all addresses in Pakistan. To manage rates by city more effectively, you could use rates based on postal codes. For this, I suggest Zapiet - Rates by Zip Code.
With this app, you can control rates across different postcodes in Pakistan using partial matching, which means you won’t need to enter each postcode individually. For instance, you could set all postcodes starting with "5" to charge $5, and those starting with "6" to charge $10.
We offer a 14-day free trial, and I think it could be a good solution given Shopify’s limitations here. Feel free to give it a try, and let us know if you have any questions!
Hi @GalahadxD,
With our Calcurates app you may set shipping rates based on Pakistan cities or postcodes. However I would recommend setting rates by postcodes for higher accuracy. If you still want to proceed with rates by cities, then you will need to specify different wording for cities that might be entered by your customers at checkout. For example, not only "Islamabad", but also "islamabad". Note, that 3rd party shipping apps require a CCS feature enabled for your Shopify store. We are happy to help you with the app setup.
