Accepting credit cards, warehouses, and shipping and fulfilling orders
I have a select few items in my store that need to be shipped in a 3x3x24 box. However, USPS has a fee for boxes over a certain length. The issue I am having is that since shopify calculates shipping costs by weight, it is undercharging my customers for shipping on these items. Is there a way I can assign this size box to the select few products that need it without assigning it to my entire store? Thanks!
How have you setup your shipping profiles?
I have set up a shipping profile for these items, but it is still only taking product weight into consideration. These products are lightweight but very long so they need to be shipped in an oversized box. On Etsy, it lets me put the product dimensions in as well as the weight for shipping calculations, but Shopify only allows me to put in the weight.
