Hi Shopify Community,
I hope this message finds you well. I'm reaching out because I've encountered some challenges in managing my B2B sales on the Shopify Basic plan and would greatly appreciate any insights or suggestions from your experiences.
Currently, I utilize the Shopify Basic plan for my business, mainly to establish an online presence even though the majority of my sales happen in-person. Recently, I've noticed a significant increase in B2B sales, and I'm running into limitations with the Shopify platform when it comes to managing these transactions effectively.
Here are a few specific issues I'm facing:
Net30 Billing: I'm unable to set up Net30 billing terms for my B2B customers on Shopify. Has anyone found a workaround or an app that can help facilitate this?
Payment Capture and Order Processing: Shopify requires payment capture before printing packing slips or shipping labels. I'd like to explore options for printing these documents before capturing payment. Any suggestions or apps that can assist with this?
Custom Pricing for B2B Customers: Ideally, I'd like to set pricing on a per-user level, especially for customers who sign up on my site. Is there a way to achieve this within the Shopify Basic plan or through third-party apps?
Personalized Product Display for Logged-in Users: I'm looking for a solution that allows users who log in to see specific products tailored to their company. Has anyone successfully implemented this on Shopify?
Lastly, I've considered the possibility of moving away from the Shopify platform, but I wanted to check with the community first to see if there are viable solutions or workarounds that I might be overlooking. I don't meet the minimum monthly sales threshold for the higher-tier plans, and I find it surprising that there isn't a more affordable middle ground for businesses like mine that engage in both B2C and B2B sales.
Any advice, tips, or shared experiences would be immensely valuable. Thank you in advance for your time and assistance.
Best regards,
