We have a direct to consumer beef company and we offer "meet ups" for our customers to be able to meet us at different locations so they don't have to pay shipping. The problem we are running into is each location is holding its own inventory when we just need all the orders to come out of our main inventory, i already contacted shopify and was told this isn't possible without an app. so now i'm just looking for the best app to achieve this. the app just needs to update the inventory at all locations everytime an order is placed.
For example say this is what our inventory looks like for Tri-Tips:
Shop 6
Boise 6
Meridian 6
Eagle 6
say a customer places an order for 2 tri-tips for pickup in Eagle, it now looks like this:
Shop 6
Boise 6
Meridian 6
Eagle 4
we need it to be updating the other locations to only have 4
Hello,
This is an interesting scenario. Have you considered removing the additional "locations" from Shopify? To me, it sounds like you just need to have one location setup (Shop). If you need to have the different locations set up in Shopify for some other purpose, perhaps that purpose can also be achieved in a different way. You may want to reach out to the support staff for the Syncio App, their product may be able to do what you need it to.
Check out this app: https://apps.shopify.com/multi-store-stock-sync
It looks like it is able to sync inventory between multiple locations.
Hi @TCCStephanie If you cannot find an off the shelf app that specializes in location sync'ing contact me as I've setup this process for another cattle co with a similar situation by using the usemechanic automation app.
But TCC might be the same cattle co??
There are a couple of variations , depending on how you've structured your products.
If this is for single product with variants with multiple locations then there's a script that should get you going

The upside here over dedicated sync apps is you can negotiate pricing similar to the sync apps but get the benefit of now having an automation tool for other aspects of your shopify administration.
However if your products are more complex and using things like SKUS or variants across multiple products AND multiple locations you'd need custom work as multiple location sync'ing has to be custom made , contact me if the case.

I need similar help. Is this something you can help me with?
we have a food club. It’s all one inventory but members can pick it up at different locations. I need inventory to stay up to date in real time so items don’t get ordered that are out of stock.
Hi @Gremlino Sure this is custom logic I can automate ,
Making a custom automation can have a larger upfront cost , though the app-runner is cheap per month.
So if you've got the funding send me an mail with the business logic you need.
Please always provide context, examples: store url, post url(s), examples , or any further detail.Contact Info in signature, or click here to mail me with your email client.

Stocklink is perfect for this. You set products up to sync between all locations in under 2 minutes.
We have the same problem here. I wish Shopify or Shopify Flow could deal with it
