Hello

I have imported my etsy store yesterday to shopify. All sales on etsy payments were in euros, and shopify set the currency to my national currency . I want the payments to be in euros and i am not able to change it. I never had an sale on shopify before .

You'll need to contact shopify support directly, they should be able to make a switch on their end.

Hey @IMbAMedo,

Welcome to the Shopify Community!

Your store currency is the currency that is used in your Shopify admin. It's the currency that you price your products in and that's used in your reports. To change your store currency, from your store admin head to Settings > Store Details and scroll down to the Store currency section. If you haven't made any sales yet, you can still change your currency and simply select it from the dropdown as shown below. If you have made your first sale then you will need to contact our support team directly as @Nick_Marketing mentioned.

If your country supports multiple payout currencies, then you can change your payout currency to another supported currency. To receive the payouts, you need to have a bank account in the currency that you want to be paid in. For example, if your store is located in Canada, and you want to be paid in US dollars (USD), then you need to have a bank account that accepts USD.
If you are interested in selling in multiple currencies (i.e. USD, GBP, and others) it may be a good idea to check out our options for selling in multiple currencies. There are many ways to do this, so we've compiled this guide to help out.

As this is your first post in the Shopify Community I would like to welcome you! I would recommend reading our guide on getting support from the Shopify Community here so you are best equipped when looking for support through these forum boards. We also have this great Introduction to Shopify section of our Help Center and a YouTube Channel which is jam-packed with how-to guides to help you get set up faster. What is it that you are selling with Shopify?
