How can i offer multiple shipping options at checkout for my customers. I think it would be great of they could choose what they are willing to pay for shipping depending on how long they want to wait for their package.
Melissa from Shopify here. So in order to set such a range of shipping options, this would mean going beyond the manual rates that can be set up within the Shopify Admin, it would be very custom.
If you need to set up a more custom shipping method for your product or collections, there is a range of apps that you can take a look and see if they would be a good fit for what you would like to have, check them out here. To use some of these apps you may need to have Carrier calculated shipping enabled on your store in order to use the functionality needed from the app.
Bespoke Shipping http://bit.ly/2uaYH6b is an app that comes to mind. This app actually has the option of setting up time-based rates. They also offer a 7-day free trial if you wanted to test the app's capabilities out for yourself and see if it could work for your business.

Within Shopify, you can enable flat rate or free shipping options at the checkout. But, you can display shipping methods from different carriers by enabling carrier calculated shipping on your Shopify store. Enabling this would allow you to display rates from USPS, DHL, etc. To enable that, there are multiple options;
Now, if you want to display shipping methods based on other factors like zones, quantity, total weight, etc, you will have to use different apps available on Shopify.
I just found the topic so i didn't create a new one.
So, there is no any away to offer the costumer a choice where he can choose from 2 different types of shipping?
For example for dropshipping from Aliexpress:
- Option 1: FREE SHIPPING (where the costumer knows that if he chooses this option the article will take longer)
- Option 2: CHARGE SHIPPING (the costumer will choose this option if he doesn't mind to pay a bit more, to get the product sooner)
This should be shown in the check.out to the costumer.

I have the same issue. I think a lot of my store visitors find the courier shipping rates expensive, so I want to be able to offer 2 different options, a cheaper one that takes longer and a more expensive one that is fast and with tracking ability. None of the apps suit my requirements. The real-time calculated rates doesn't work where I live and ship orders from.
Did you get this figure out? I'm at the same point and just setting up new shop with Shopify. Any advice would be highly appreciated.
It seems the only option is to go for the calculated shipping rates and install an App. Unfortunately, the Apps only work with certain shipping companies - they do not allow you to setup the rates manually.
Has anyone found a better way/ App for offering the customer the choice of choosing against multiple shipping options e.g. Same product may be ordered via Free Shipping ( which may take longer delivery lead time ) or EXPRESS shipping for Urgent delivery at an added charge.
You can check out the Multi Carrier Shipping Label app that helps you offer different shipping methods to your customers based on the product details, location, service, etc.
