Accepting credit cards, warehouses, and shipping and fulfilling orders
We have run into a problem with our current setup in regard to shipping. We have our products set to one location which is a site where we collect our packages (offsite of our retail location). We don't accept packages at our retail location, and instead pick up everything from the offsite place. Because of this, our products are listed as under the shipment location and not our retail location. We want to offer local pickup, but we would need to move the products to be listed under our retail location. Is there a way around this? We don't want to have undeliverable packages end up back at our retail location as we aren't open everyday.
Hi, @hannawalters
Welcome to the Shopify Community! Thanks for posting.
I'll need to know a bit more information to provide the best options here. When you mention your offsite location, is this where you ship orders from? Or is this only where you pick up your inventory? Essentially, is there any reason to have your products stocked at this location?
Generally, if you operate two locations, once your inventory moves locations you will initiate a transfer of that inventory in your Shopify Admin from Location A(offsite location) to Location B(retail location). Once your products are stocked at Location B, you can set up Local Pick Up for these products.
I hope that helps! In the meantime, I'd love for you to provide your URL so I can take a look at the business and see what additional support I can provide.
We don't operate from two locations, rather that's only where we pick up packages from. Our inventory isn't there either, but it's our shipping address that we want on packages when they're sent out. So that's the only reason we have our products "technically" there online.

Hello! Ren here helping out Skye this evening.
It's okay if you don't operate from two locations, you can still set different locations in your Settings to display the desired options during checkout.
It sounds like you need to set a specific location as pick-up only with no shipping options to avoid - do I have that right?
This 3rd party-source offers advice on how to configure this in your settings. Though because it's 3rd party, I can't guarantee the workaround although it does look promising.
I want to make sure I am able to help you out here so if I haven't quite understood your needs, please let me know. Any examples or screenshots/details would be helpful!
